poem - Awakening

Soft glowing, magnificent globe,
lush greens scatter,
vibrant oceans abound,
marbled wisps of white clouds —
drifting,

I am

away,
my sweet planet shrinks
from my sight.

Floating

from comforts known into
infinite velvet black abyss,
blankets me in Love;
hope-filled
endless unknown of
dazzling, sparkling stars
eternally

I am

in bliss.
